How to Shrink a Partition in Windows 11

You will see a single drive called “C” under “This PC.” This is because your PC has one drive, and it has taken up all of your space. You require to free up space on your SSD or HDD to Shrink it. Follow these steps to do so:
- Click on Search menu, type Partition, and click on Create and format hard disk partition.
- After clicking on it, Disk Management windows open up.
- Right-click and choose Shrink Volume on the partition you need to shrink or free up space for a new drive.
- After that, a dialog box appears; type the size in MB that you need to free up from that drive and click on Shrink.
- You will be able to see an Unallocated space near the selected drive.
How to Create a New Partition in Windows 11
